Plier Types

 The plier is basically a pair of two legs, which is attached to a pivot. Both of its legs have a long handle and a short jaw. It is used to hold, fasten, pull and rotate small parts and components. It is used for bending and cutting low diameter wires. In addition, pliers are also used for shaping and folding light metal sheets. The pliers are made of high quality steel. Its metal parts should be wiped with a cloth immersed in oil. Also the oil on the pivot and joints should be applied from time to time.

There are various types of pliers, of which the following pliers are mainly used by electricians.

1.Diagonal Cutting Plier

It is also called a side cutting player. It is used to cut low diameter wires and cables that are near the terminal. 2.End Cutting Plier

3.Flat Nose Plier

4.Round Nose Plier

Due to the shape of their jaws being conical, it is possible to make curves and circles of different dimensions. Their lengths are 120, 140, 160, 180 and 200 mm. They are used to curve the wires and light metal strips. They are also used to make wiring that can fit into terminal screws and hold small parts.



5. Long Nose Plier

Pliers are made in a straight and curved form. They are especially used to hold small parts in a confined enclosure. Their lengths are 160, 180, 200 and 220 mm.




6.Combination Plier
Combinations are flattened pliers, which are used to fasten, hold, and squeeze various parts of wires and cables. It also combines a double side cutter to cut low diameter wires and cables and it also features a double joint cutter for cutting steel wires. Additionally, the joint pliers also have a pipe grip plier to fasten and hold cylindrical objects. These pliers are available in 140, 160, 190, 210 and 250 mm lengths.
